FAQ

WHY IS IT CALLED PERMANENT MAKEUP, ISN’T JUST SEMI PERMANENT ?
It’s called permanent makeup because it is permanent! Though the pigment may fade over time, it is a tattoo and will remain under the skin for the most part. There are removal methods; however, the pigment is implanted under the dermal layer of the skin and is designed to stay there.
-
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST ?
The average is 1 to 3 years for richness in color and shape. Again it is permanent, but the color will fade over time. It varies person to person because it is heavily affected by lifestyle and care (sun exposure, product use, skin type, climate changes etc). We recommend yearly touch ups for brows and every two years for lips and eyes. This will help keep the color rich and the shape intact.
-
DO I NEED A CONSULTATION BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT ?
No, only if you have had permanent makeup done previously somewhere else or if there is a skin condition you are concerned about.
I need a virtual consultation . Send us an email.
-
WHAT IF I HAVE A PREVIOUS BROW TATTOO?
Not everyone is a candidate for a touch up or a corrective work when you already had a procedure done. A virtual consultation is needed in this case to discuss the best option.

DOES BROW PROCEDURES RUIN YOUR NATURAL EYEBROWS?
No, the technique will not encourage future hair loss or cause damage to the skin. the pigment is deposited inside your skin and it doesn’t ruin your natural eyebrows and the existing hair will still be visible.
-
WILL IT HURT ?
Always striving to make every client as comfortable as possible. Most usually experience minimal to no pain at all. We apply topical anesthetics both before the procedure and during the procedure to ensure that discomfort is kept to a minimum.

HOW LONG WILL I BE AT MY APPOINTMENT ?

HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH LAST?
Lip blush tattoos usually last 2-3 years. However, you can refresh your lips more often if you'd like. Lifestyle factors like sun exposure, exfoliating and smoking can shorten the longevity of the lip blush. Skin type can also shorten the longevity. Your artists will discuss all factors with you, including the importance of following aftercare instructions. Many people like to refresh every 6-months to enhance, change the color or sheerness level. We offer lower pricing if you visit us more often.
-
SHOULD I GET LIP BLUSH BEFORE OR AFTER FILLERS?
Always get a lip blushing procedure done first. Here’s why,
The reason to get your lip blush before fillers is that lip fillers will change the shape of your lips. This means that lip blush applied over lip fillers might not look right once the fillers have faded forcing you to continue to get them. In a worst-case scenario, your lip blush might even appear skewed or warped in your face’s natural state, requiring further touch-ups. so definitely schedule your lip blushing appointment before the lip fillers!
-
I’VE ALREADY HAD MY LIPS INJECTED CAN I DO LIP BLUSHING?
LIP FILLERS ARE GREAT PAIRING WITH LIP BLUSHING SINCE IT CAN HELP PERFECT THE OVERALL SHAPE! IF YOU’VE ALREADY GOTTEN LIP FILLERS, PLEASE WAIT A MINIMUM OF 4 WEEKS AFTER INJECTIONS, BEFORE SCHEDULING A LIP BLUSHING TREATMENT.
-
I GET COLD SORES; CAN I GET LIP BLUSH TATTOO?
As long as you don't currently have one, the fact that you get them is not a problem. It is highly recommended that you contact your physician and get an antiviral medication for cold sores to be taken 2 days prior, the day of and 4 days after your lip appointment. If for some reason you still get a cold sore, with proper care, your lip color retention will not be affected. Please use a topical and continue using the medication. You will need to repeat the medication at touch up and move it out 2 weeks for proper healing time.
